Personal Data Processing

In accordance with the provisions laid out in Law 15/1999, dated December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, the user accepts that the personal data provided at the time of reservation be incorporated into a file owned by HOTEL EL ROMERITO S.L., hereinafter referred to as the company, with Business Tax ID B92714005 and registered address at C/ Espacio, 48, 50 29006 Málaga (Spain), for the management of the reservation system, the processing of your request, control and management of the relationship with the web users who process reservations, as well as, for the performance of statistical studies of the registered users on the said website which will allow for improvements in the services provided.

All fields in the forms marked as mandatory must be necessarily filled in for the correct processing of your requests. The personal data you provide will only be communicated to third parties in compliance with legal obligations or with your prior consent.

The user expressly agrees that the provided banking details are used to manage the possible penalties prior to cancellations or no-shows established under the terms of the fare. Processing your reservations necessarily involves the aforementioned treatment, so the process cannot be completed in case of opposition to the same.

You can, at any time, exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition as detailed below.

Data Accuracy

The user will always be accountable for the accuracy of the provided data, reserving the right for the company to exclude from the registered services every user who has provided false data, without prejudice to other actions that may apply by law.

Also, the user must be properly authorized to provide data on behalf of other individuals. Only if they have the consent of the future guests of the hotel, can the user note their names and surnames in the Room Distribution section.

Such information, which allows the selected hotel to provide a better service to its guests, is optional, therefore its recording by the user, implies, under their exclusive responsibility, the assumption of the duty to inform those concerned about the content of our Privacy Policy prior to the personal information offering.

Data Processing on Navigation

In accordance with the obligation provided for in art. 22.2 of Law 34/2002, dated July 11, of information society and electronic commerce services, you are informed that the company uses cookies.

A cookie is a piece of text information that websites transfer to the hard drive of computers that connect to them. We use session cookies to identify the user and maintain their identification status. Session cookies are automatically deleted from the hard drive at the end of the session.

We also use cookies to compile anonymous and aggregate statistics that allow us to analyze the way users use our website, in order to improve it.

Only the following information about the visitors to our website is obtained and kept:

This will allow us to get the following information:

  • The date and time of the last visit of the user to our website.
  • The content design that the user selected on his visit to our website.
  • Security elements that are involved in the control of access to restricted areas.

While the information obtained is, in principle, completely anonymous, the users are informed in accordance with Report 327/2003 of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, that the aforementioned data will be incorporated into a personal data file of the company for the aforementioned purposes. The user may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition as detailed below.

We also use the Google Adwords remarketing tool. This tool allows you to publish advertisements based on previous visits by users to our website on the Google Adwords Content Network (more details about the Google Content Network here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2404190).

For this reason, some of the pages on our website include a code called a “remarketing tag”. These tags allow you to read and set cookies in your browser in order to determine the specific type of ad that will be shown to the user, based on elements related to your visit to our website, such as the chosen navigation circuit, the specific pages visited or the actions carried out on them.

The remarketing lists created are stored in a database on Google’s servers, where all the cookie IDs associated with each list or category of interests are stored.

The information obtained only allows a specific browser to be identified, and Google cannot identify the specific user purely based on this information (more information about the Remarketing tool at the following link: https://www.google.es/adwords).

Regarding the company, this information may only be associated with a specific user in cases where said user is identified on the website, for example because they have completed a reservation process.

In this case, the data thus obtained will be communicated to the company for commercial prospecting purposes and segmentation of the website users to design commercial campaigns according to the interests shown during browsing, incorporating the data into a file of the aforementioned entity for indicated purposes.

Only when consent is given will the necessary personal data for communication be transferred to Paraty Hotels S.L and will serve to keep you informed, either by email or by any other means, of news, products and services related to the company and Paraty S.L.

From this moment you are informed that if you have stated that this is your wish, your personal data will be incorporated into a file with personal data for which the company is responsible, the user may access, cancel, rectify their data, or oppose its treatment by a written request to the company as detailed below.

Hotel’s Liability

Access to the page by no means implies the existence of a commercial relationship between the user and the company. The portal only provides information about available hotel places at the time of requesting said information, so if you make the reservation online, you are contracting directly with the hotel and not with the portal.

The printed version of the made reservation serves as a locator when going to the hotel.

Reserving nights at a hotel on this website implies the adherence and acceptance by the client of each and every one of the general conditions set out herein.

By accepting the following clauses, you declare and accept:

  • To be of legal age and have full capacity to make the reservation, stating that you understand and comprehend all of the conditions that are found on the company website.
  • That the data provided when making the online reservation are true, complete, and concise.
  • Only those pages included within the sitemap are available on the website.
  • That access to this website is the responsibility of the user.
  • Once the reservation is made, the electronic document in which it has been formalised will be archived, and you can access it at any time.
  • That you confirm the reservation made, i.e., the specified dates, the number of rooms, people, and the chosen Hotel.
  • The conditions and price of the made reservation are those specified in the terms of the fare that are explicitly included on the page where the reservation is made.
  • With respect to the relationship with the portal, it gives you the ability to reserve rooms at the chosen hotel through its website, but it does not offer any type of hotel service under its responsibility.
  • That your payment card data is collected to guarantee the reservation. Payment will be made in person at the chosen Hotel and only in the case of cancellations or no-shows will the reservation be cancelled and the charges applied as specified in the fare conditions.
  • Offers are only valid for the period of time during which they are accessible to the service recipients.

Prices

The indicated prices are Public Sale Prices including VAT.

  • The price includes: Price per night according to the type of room and plan selected, except for hotels where there is a specific inclusion of other services.
  • The price does not include: Any services not specified in addition to extras such as transfers, tips, phone calls, laundry services, minibar, parking, etc…
  • Check-in and check-out times: As a general rule, and unless expressly agreed otherwise with the establishment, rooms can be used from 2 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure.

Passports and Visas

All travelers, without exception (including children), must have their corresponding personal and family documentation in order, whether it’s a passport or ID card, according to current legislation.

It will be on their account when trips require it to obtain visas, passports, vaccination certificates, etc.

Minors under 18 must carry a written permission signed by their parents or guardians, in the event it may be requested by any authority.

In the event any authority rejects the granting of visas, for specific user related reasons, or the entry into the country is denied because they fail to meet the required conditions, or because of a defect in the required documentation, or for not being a carrier of the same, the hotel declines all responsibility for events of this nature, with the consumer being accountable for any expenses incurred, applying in these circumstances the conditions and rules established for the no-show scenario.

Cancellation Policy

Depending on the rate, you may cancel the reservation free of charge from 2 days before arrival for the Flexible Rate, up to 7 days before arrival for the Long Stay Rate for 7 nights, up to 28 days for the Long Stay Rate and up to 15 days for the Early Booking Rate.
